Race Team Staff, Drivers     Toby Grahovec - Driver The 2005 SCCA National Champion, Toby had made the switch from racing shifter karts to racing sedans in the Pro Sports Car Neon Challenge in 1999. In that rookie season the young Grahovec scored his first podium finish at the Champ Car race at Road America. During the 2000 season, Toby was able to collect his first pro win at the Dodge Dealers Grand Prix at Lime Rock Park. Along with that first win, he was able to stand on the podium 3 times and finish the year 3rd in the Championship. From 2001 to 2005, Toby raced a REALTIME Acura Integra in SCCA Nationals and the Runoffs along with doing tire testing for Hoosier Racing Tire. The year 2003 was a great year for him, he graduated from Robert Morris College in Chicago and in November of 2003 he was selected to be a Factory Dodge driver and help develop the SRT-4 into a racecar. In 2005 he raced a Corvette in SCCA T1 and made his oval debut at Sandusky Speedway in Truck race with strong 6th place finish. That was not the only thing on Toby’s plate; he also teamed up with Classic BMW to win the SCCA National Championship in their SSB BMW Z4. Race Team Staff     Tom Bull - Crew Chief Tom grew up in Eugene, Oregon where he went to high school. He began drag racing while in high school. After moving to Texas in 1982, Tom worked for a couple of Texas dealers before opening a body shop called Automotive Restorations. He began preparing auto cross cars in the 80’s and crewed for several IMSA race teams. In the late 80’s and early 90’s Tom took a job as Crew Chief for a Nissan factory-backed team. He came to work for Classic BMW in 1995 and has either been repairing cars, building race cars or crewing on race teams for 30 years. Tom has been the Crew Chief for Classic BMW since 2004. He is married to Patti Dieterich who is wonderful to once again put up with him being gone racing all the time, especially since he quit racing in the 90’s to preserve his marriage.       Brad Hamilton - Technician Brad is a native Texan and has worked for Classic BMW since June of 2001. He first worked in the Collision Center for 1 ½ years and then transferred to Service. Brad has been with the race team for over 3 years. His hobbies are photography, racing, and fabrication; so his work is his hobby. Brad is also newly married, and yes she loves racing!
