Power is nothing without control. Water, dirt, and air are the primary enemies to your braking system. Brake fluid will absorb water and rust out the system from within. Through normal driving they also accumulate dirt, which can ruin the machined surfaces in the brake master cylinder and the brake calipers. Air can sit in the lines and cause the brakes to become less effective or spongy. BMW recommends a brake flush at least every two years to keep your BMW brakes at optimum performance.
