It is rare indeed to find a vehicle that doesn't require maintenance and repair from time to time. Years ago we choose not only to offer shuttle service but a loaner car program and now even valet service. Below are the guidelines we use in determining which type of transportation we can offer.

Classic BMW has invested in and can boast the largest fleet of BMW loan cars in the metroplex. Our loan car arrangement works as follows:

Any BMW within the 4 yr/50K, CPO 6 yr/100K warranty period as well as BMW Ultimate Service coverage or any BMW with an extended service contract is eligible for a loaner as available under the following conditions.

o In order to accommodate you with a BMW loan car, due to our high service volume, reservations for eligible service work must be made days in advance.

o Certain services, we consider "quick service items" such as oil change, rotate and balance, new battery, tire change, etc. are not eligible for a loan car reservation - but we can shuttle you to a nearby location or arrange for you to secure a rental vehicle.

o If there are safety/driveability issues with your car we will attempt to provide you a vehicle. However, please understand that a BMW loan car cannot be promised without an advance scheduled appointment.

o Our insurance liability restrictions require that the person receiving the vehicle must be at least 21 years of age. That person must provide their valid driver's license, a credit card and their current insurance coverage before we can release the vehicle.

o Loan vehicle must be returned within 12 hours of notification that your vehicle is completed. If the 12 hour range falls outside of our normal operating hours you will be expected to return it immediately upon opening of next business day. There will be a $75 late fee charged for each day not returned as requested.

o Smoking is not permitted in our loan vehicles and we ask that you replace any fuel used while in your possession.

This is a complimentary service for the duration of your new car 4-year/50K mile factory warranty,CPO 6-year/100K mile warranty, as well as BMW Ultimate Service coverage or any BMW currently under an extended service contract.

A Valet Service Request must be made at least 7 days in advance to ensure proper scheduling and availability of a loan car by contacting our Service Reservations at 214.778.2616 to make your appointment. Valet Service is scheduled within a two hour window between the hours of 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday thru Friday. Valet Service is offered for all service needs (with the exception of collision repair) for BMW 8, 10 or 12 cylinder engine owners.

If you find it difficult to get to us, we can assist you by picking up and returning your car within an approximate 15 mile radius of our dealership. See our list of current communities served.

While our goal is to provide you with a BMW loan car, we cannot guarantee a specific model and on occasion due to high service volume or your emergency situation, it may be necessary to accommodate your transportation needs by securing a vehicle through our contracted rental agency.

Our shuttle service runs from 7:15 - 6:00 Monday thru Friday and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. We will take and pick you up from a nearby (within 10 miles) work/home location. We also offer shuttles to local area shopping and entertainment between 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

Our lounge is a convenient meeting location, perfect spot to get some work done or catch up on your reading. Our fully equipped lounge houses four Dell workstations for your use, wireless internet access, wide panel direct satellite TV and a well-stocked, light refreshment bar.

While you wait, feel free to take advantage of a test drive opportunity. Just let you service advisor know and he will contact someone in sales to assist you or you can ask our receptionist for assistance.

While we want to assist with your transportation needs, due to liability, loan car, valet and shuttle service will be temporarily suspended in the event of inclement weather or if the temperature is forecasted to be below 37°F.

Also note that valet service and loan cars are NOT available for work performed at Classic BMW's Collision Center. Please refer to your auto insurance policy for coverage concerning rental car reimbursement in the event of an accident.

When using either our BMW loan car or a rental vehicle the person taking possession of vehicle must provide their valid driver's license, current proof of insurance and a credit card. The vehicle owner or owner's agent must provide the above and be present to sign all documents when picking up or returning the vehicles.

Alternative transportation services will be provided to customers who choose to bring their vehicles to Classic BMW for service and agree to the terms as described above.
