BMW Roadside Assistance offers outstanding travel protection 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, at no additional cost* and without any mileage restrictions. You're covered in all 50 states, Canada and Puerto Rico, and you're even covered if someone else is driving your BMW.

In addition to emergency roadside service, we can provide routing information for the perfect drive on your next road trip. And we can even help arrange alternate transportation and hotel accommodations if your trip is unexpectedly interrupted.

BMW Roadside Assistance is available to you for the first four years from the original in-service date, with no mileage restrictions and at no cost to you. Full details are available in your Service and Warranty Booklet, which you would have received from BMW of North America, LLC after taking delivery.

If you are the owner of a Certified Pre-Owned BMW, you're covered for six years from the original in-service date, with no mileage restrictions. You can find full details in your Consumer Information Statement, which was provided by your BMW center at the time of delivery.

In April 2010 BMW introduced a smartphone application for its BMW Roadside Assistance service in the United States.  This is a free application and is included as part of BMW Ultimate Service with every new and Certified Pre-Owned BMW model.  It is also available as a per-year subscription for older models.  The application is compatible with iPhone, BlackBerry, and Android operating systems.

The key features include:

• Compatibility with any registered BMW model in the United States (models from 1975 onward).
• More expedient handling of BMW Roadside Assistance requests.
• Automatic sharing of GPS location and vehicle details (color, model, etc.) between the BMW Roadside Assistance call center and the vehicle owner.
• Direct telephone access to BMW contact information, including authorized BMW Centers, BMW Customer Relations, BMW Assist concierge/emergency services, and of course BMW Roadside Assistance.

There are custom settings including the ability to import up to four BMW vehicles in a single installation of the application.  Each will be customized and stored in the application.
